Curtains
Made to measure curtains, thoughtfully tailored to both the setting and the people who use it. Annabel will guide you through the process, helping to select fabrics that suit your scheme, practical requirements and budget, before advising on the many details that bring a curtain to life — from headings and linings to interlinings, trims and finishes.
Each pair is crafted using traditional techniques and a close attention to proportion, drape and detail. No two projects are quite the same; every curtain is shaped by its setting, the fabric chosen and the preferences of the client, resulting in a piece that is entirely individual and made to be enjoyed for years to come.
Roman Blinds
Elegant, practical and quietly understated, Roman blinds bring softness and structure to a window without overwhelming a space. Whether used on their own or paired with curtains, they provide a tailored finish that sits comfortably within both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Each blind is made to measure and crafted to suit its setting, with careful attention given to scale, fabric and finish. Shaped by the space it belongs to and the fabric selected, every blind is slightly different, bringing warmth, privacy and a quiet sense of balance to the room.
Cushions, Bolster Cushions & Box Cushions
From simple scatter cushions to tailored box cushions for window seats, banquettes and built-in seating, cushions are often the finishing layer that brings a scheme together. Bolsters introduce another dimension, offering both comfort and character while helping to soften and define a space.
Made to measure in carefully chosen fabrics, each piece is shaped by its surroundings. Pelmets, Tie-backs & Cafe Curtains

Every project begins with a conversation. It’s an opportunity to discuss your ideas, understand what you’re hoping to achieve and answer any initial questions. Together, we’ll explore the possibilities and decide whether House of Mabel is the right fit for your project.

Annabel will visit your home or commercial premises to discuss your project in more detail, take measurements and guide you through fabrics, finishes and practical considerations. Whether you have a clear vision or need a little direction, this is an opportunity to explore the possibilities together.
A £75 consultation fee applies and is fully credited against any project that goes ahead.

Following the visit, you’ll receive a clear Statement of Work outlining the scope of the project, recommended fabrics, estimated timings and costs.
Once you’re happy to proceed, a 75% deposit secures your project and allows materials to be ordered before work begins.

Each piece is carefully crafted using traditional soft furnishing techniques, with time, precision and close attention given to every stage of the process. The finished piece or pieces are beautifully made, bespoke furnishings created especially for your space.

Before work begins, we’ll agree how your project will be delivered or installed. Whether that’s fitting curtains and blinds, installing bespoke soft furnishings or arranging collection, every project is completed with the same care and attention taken throughout the making process.
